How Balloon Decor Booking Works

Most balloon decor in LA gets booked through Instagram DMs, consultation calls, and 3-day quote turnarounds. We took a different approach: build a fixed catalog of 8 packages, publish the prices, let people reserve online. From "I want this" to "it's installed" is usually under 72 hours.

1. Pick a package

Browse the 8 SKUs. Each has a clear price, what's included, palettes, and limits. No discovery call, no proposal PDF — what's on the page is what we build.
2. Customize colors & date

Three palette options per package — proven to photograph well across LA venues. Set the vinyl name (up to 12 characters), pick the event date, choose pickup or delivery.
3. Confirm and reserve

Submit the form. We respond within 2 hours with confirmation and a 50% deposit invoice. Balance due 24 hours before event day.
4. We set up

Setup runs 30–45 minutes on event day, arriving 30 minutes before guests. The installation is photo-ready when we leave. Optional same-night takedown available (+$60).

Why we work this way

Custom balloon decor is expensive because every event starts from zero.

A standard luxury balloon studio quotes each event individually: design call, mood board, custom palette mix, pricing per square foot. That work has real cost — and it ends up in the invoice. Our packages skip that loop. We pre-design, pre-cut what's reusable, and build the same kit dozens of times. The materials are identical to luxury studios (Qualatex, Sempertex, Tuf-Tex). The price is roughly half.

Standardized scope

Every package has fixed dimensions and a fixed balloon count. No "can you make this a bit bigger" on the day — that's a different package or a custom job. Predictable scope keeps the price predictable.

Pre-cut vinyl letters

Vinyl letters cut from a fixed font set in fixed sizes. Setup time drops from 2 hours to 30 minutes. The look is identical to custom-cut vinyl — it's the same plotter, just batched.

Three palettes only

Custom palette mixing on the day costs labor. Three pre-mixed palettes per package — designed by us to photograph well in indoor and outdoor light — keep the price down without lowering quality.

Predictable logistics

We know exactly what fits in the van and how long setup takes for each SKU. That predictability is what lets the price stay fixed — and what makes 2-hour booking-to-confirmation possible.

What we ask in the booking form (and why)

The form is intentionally short — 7 fields, 90 seconds. Here's why each field matters:

Package selection — tells us which SKU to prep (balloon count, frame, vinyl color)
Event date and start time — books your slot in our calendar; we arrive 30 min before
Palette choice — locks the palette so we don't have to follow-up
Vinyl name / message — pre-cut before event day to save 20 min on-site
Venue address — calculates delivery zone (no surcharge if within 25 mi of central LA)
Your name, phone, email — confirmation channels, setup-day SMS coordination
Notes (optional) — parking, gate codes, anything venue-specific

On event day — what to expect

The day-of timeline:

Morning of event: we send you a setup-time confirmation SMS (typically arriving 30–60 min before your guests)
Arrival: our team arrives in a TFDS-marked van, with the pre-built backdrop, pre-blown balloons, vinyl letters
Setup: 30–45 minutes for a standard package; we work efficiently and quietly if guests start arriving
Hand-off: we take final photos for your reference and confirm the installation looks right with you
Takedown (optional): if you booked the takedown add-on, we return same-night at agreed time
