A complete birthday installation, ready to reserve in two minutes. Same matte and chrome balloons used by luxury studios, sized for typical home and small-venue birthdays in Los Angeles. Choose one palette at booking. Each is hand-mixed and proven to photograph well across indoor and outdoor LA venues.
Pink & Gold
Blush, dusty pink, chrome gold, ivory white. The most-booked palette — works for ages 1 through milestone birthdays. Photographs beautifully under both natural and warm indoor light.
Blue & Silver
Sky blue, deep navy, chrome silver, ivory. Cleaner, modern feel — common request for kid birthdays (3-12) and milestone milestones for men. Renders crisply in flash photography.
Pastel Rainbow
Soft pink, mint, butter yellow, lilac, ivory. Joyful and ungendered — popular for 5-12 year olds, Sweet 16, and bohemian-style adult birthdays. Looks excellent in outdoor LA spring light.

What setup day looks like

Day -3: vinyl prep
Your name letters get plotted from our vinyl roll. We use 12-mil matte premium vinyl that doesn't curl in LA heat.

Day -1: balloon prep
Balloons get blown to spec and double-stuffed where the design calls for it. Frames pre-assembled in our studio.

Event day: arrival
We arrive 30–45 min before guests in a TFDS-marked van with the pre-built kit. Setup happens behind the scenes without disrupting prep.

Event day: install
Backdrop frame goes up, garland attaches in 6–8 sections, vinyl letters apply last. Final pass for symmetry, then we hand off and send you reference photos.
Why this package, specifically
The birthday package was built around the most-booked event we see in LA: 25–35 guest birthday parties at home, in restaurant private rooms, or at small banquet halls. The 60-balloon count and 6-ft backdrop dimensions are sized specifically for these spaces — too small and it disappears in photos, too large and it overwhelms a typical dining room. We landed on this configuration after building roughly the same kit at events across West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and central LA — and seeing where the design hit and where it missed. The kit photographs equally well for a 1st birthday with a number balloon as for a 50th with year vinyl, just by changing the vinyl content. For milestone birthdays where you want a larger statement, the optional balloon column add-on ($120) adds a vertical focal element that turns the same 6-ft backdrop into a Hollywood-photoshoot-ready setup.

To keep the price honest, this package has fixed limits:
- One vinyl name (up to 12 characters) — longer messages need an extra panel ($35 add-on)
- Backdrop height fixed at 6 ft — taller backdrops are custom-installation territory

- Setup within 25 mi of central LA — beyond that, $1.50/mi delivery surcharge applies

What goes into your installation
Balloons: Qualatex and Sempertex premium matte and chrome latex (24+ hr indoor, 6+ hr outdoor in LA heat). Frame: aluminum-core, fabric-wrapped 6-ft backdrop frame, reusable. Vinyl: 12-mil matte premium, pre-cut on commercial plotter — same equipment used by event-production houses in LA. Helium: not used in this package; air-filled with structured frame has 3x the lifespan and zero drift risk for indoor installs.

Birthday balloon package — questions
How far in advance should I book my birthday package?
2–3 days is the typical lead time for weekday events. For Saturdays, book 1–2 weeks ahead; for Q2/Q3 Saturdays specifically, 2–3 weeks ahead is safest because milestone birthdays cluster in May–August. Same-day setup is available for an extra $75 rush fee when our schedule allows — usually possible Tuesday–Thursday.
Do you set up indoors or outdoors?
Both. For outdoor setups in LA summer heat (June–September, 85°+ days), we use heat-resistant techniques and the installation is rated for 6+ hours outdoors. For coastal venues with stronger sun and ocean breeze (Santa Monica, Marina del Rey), we add anchor weights at no extra charge to keep the backdrop stable.
What if my venue is more than 25 miles from central LA?
We deliver further with a $1.50/mi surcharge beyond 25 miles. The fixed $450 package price stays the same; only the travel line adjusts. Common further-distance areas: South Bay, San Fernando Valley north of Encino, Long Beach. Quote on the booking form notes — we confirm the surcharge before deposit.
Can you take down the installation after the event?
Yes — same-night takedown is +$60. We return at a time you set (typically end of event + 30 min) and remove the entire installation. Otherwise the venue keeps the setup as part of their cleanup, and you keep the vinyl letters as a keepsake.
Why is this cheaper than custom balloon decor in LA?
We don't quote each event from scratch. The same kit gets built dozens of times — pre-cut vinyl, pre-built frames, three palette options instead of unlimited custom mixing. That removes about 4 hours of design and consultation labor per event, which at LA event-industry rates is roughly $400–$600. The materials and craft are identical to $850+ custom installations.
Can the vinyl say something other than a name?
Yes — anything up to 12 characters fits in the standard kit. Common alternatives: "Sweet 16", "Happy 30", "Cheers!", "Mr 50", a year ("2026"), or a single word that anchors the theme. Longer messages (up to 20 characters) need an extra panel as a $35 add-on.
Are balloons safe around kids and pets?
Yes — latex balloons are non-toxic and biodegradable. We use air-filled balloons (no helium for the installation, so no drift or pop hazards from compressed gas). Pop fragments are choking risk for kids under 3 — we recommend the installation be in a viewable but slightly separated area from the play zone for very young events.
Will the balloons last all day?
Indoor installations stay photo-ready 24+ hours, so morning setup for an evening event is no problem. Outdoor in LA heat: rated 6+ hours, which covers most afternoon-into-evening birthdays. For multi-day events (rare for birthdays), the installation needs a refresh which is a custom scope.

What if I need a slightly different scope (more balloons, different size)?
For minor adjustments use the add-ons (extra 30 balloons, balloon column, number balloon). For substantially different scope — larger backdrop, custom colors, multi-element installation — that's custom-installation territory, which we don't offer. The LA market has good custom studios for that; we focus on the 80% of events where a fixed kit covers it.
