Custom School Colors
Pick any two-color combination matching your school. We match within balloon-palette tolerances — exact Pantone is not possible with latex, but the closest standard balloon color is what we use.
Black & Gold
Matte black, chrome gold, white — universal graduation palette. Works for any school whose colors include either color (most do). Great fallback if school colors are very unusual.
Navy & Silver
Navy, chrome silver, white — modern graduation palette. Reads as polished for graduate-school and college graduations rather than high school. Works for graduation-and-family-dinner events.

What setup day looks like

Day -7: school color confirmation
You send us the two school colors (logo screenshot or color names work). We match to closest balloon-palette tones and confirm the match looks acceptable in photos.

Year numerals (2026, '26, "Class of 2026") plotted from matte premium vinyl. School name or graduate name vinyl prepared.

Balloons blown in school colors, garland assembled in 4-5 sections, graduation cap foil accent attached.

Why this package, specifically
Graduation is our most-schedule-constrained event type. The entire booking window collapses into May-June each year, which makes it different from other SKUs where bookings spread across the year. For 2026 specifically, May 2026 already started filling up by mid-April; June 2026 has standard 2-3 week lead time. After June, graduation bookings drop to near-zero until the following April.
The $500 price (vs $450 for the standard event packages) reflects the seasonal premium that every LA balloon studio charges in graduation season, plus the year numeral vinyl is larger than standard name vinyl. We work within the same materials and craft as all our other packages — Qualatex and Sempertex balloons, 12-mil matte vinyl, aluminum-core 6-ft backdrop — the $50 premium covers Q2 demand and year-numeral plotting time.
School color matching is the most common pre-booking question. We use balloon-color tolerance matching, which works well for most LA-area schools (USC cardinal + gold matches well, UCLA blue + gold matches well, most LA-area high schools use combinations of standard balloon-palette colors). Schools with very specific Pantone identity (purple-gold combinations, very specific teal shades) are where the match gets "close enough that photos look right" rather than exact. For exact Pantone-matched grad decor, custom installation is the right call.

To keep the price honest, this package has fixed limits:
- Two-color combination only (more colors = custom)
- Year numerals 4 digits standard (longer text custom)
- Vinyl message up to 16 characters
- Q2 seasonal: book 2+ weeks ahead for May/June, longer for school graduation Saturdays

Can you match exact school colors (Pantone)?
We match within standard balloon-color tolerances. Exact Pantone match isn't possible with latex; the closest standard balloon color is what we'll use. For LA-area schools with standard colors (USC cardinal/gold, UCLA blue/gold, most high schools), the match is excellent. For schools with very specific Pantone (some private universities, certain prep schools), the match is "photos look right" rather than exact.
When should I book for a June graduation?
Book by mid-April. June Saturdays fill up by early May every year. Graduation parties scheduled within 2-3 weeks of the ceremony date have the tightest lead time. Weekday graduation events (departmental ceremonies, family dinners) have more flexibility.
Do you set up at school venues?
Yes — we work with most LA-area schools. Confirm with the school admin that third-party decor is permitted; some schools require a vendor application 1-2 weeks ahead. The Luskin Conference Center at UCLA, Royce Hall, and most LA private school auditoriums accept third-party balloon decor with notice.
Can the year be 2 digits ('26) instead of 4?
Yes — '26, '27, etc. work and read well in photos. Two-digit format saves on vinyl real estate and reads as more contemporary in 2026. Some clients prefer 4-digit ("2026") for clarity in photos that may be shared widely; both options are no charge.
Is this for high school, college, or grad school graduations?
Any. The package is graduation-agnostic — works for elementary moving-up ceremonies, middle school graduations, high school, college, and graduate school (PhD defenses, JD ceremonies, MD ceremonies). The "Custom School Colors" palette adapts; the Black & Gold and Navy & Silver palettes work universally.
Can you add a "Congratulations" or "Class of 2026" alongside the year?
Yes — within the 16-character custom vinyl allowance, you can have "Congratulations [Name]", "Class of 2026", or similar. Longer combinations may need an extra panel ($35).
What if my school has 3 colors instead of 2?
We can work with up to 3 colors at no extra charge if one is white or black (which acts as a neutral). For genuine 3-color schools (rare in LA), the third color is in the cap accent and vinyl border, while the garland uses the primary two. For 4+ colors, that's custom-installation territory.
Can you set up at outdoor venues like backyards or parks?
Yes — backyard graduation parties are our most-booked configuration. We use heat-resistant techniques for May/June LA outdoor temperatures (rated for 6+ hours outdoor). For park venues, the host typically handles the venue permit; we set up at the designated spot.
How does this compare to a custom graduation decor in LA?
Custom graduation decor in LA typically runs $750-$1,200 for the same scope with exact-Pantone color matching, larger backdrop sizing, and custom design. Our package gives you the same materials and setup quality at $500, with the trade-off being palette tolerance and standard 6-ft backdrop dimensions.
Can you do multiple installations same day for a multi-grad event?
For LA-area events on the same day, we can handle up to 2-3 same-day setups depending on geography. Mention in booking notes if you need a multi-stop setup; we'll confirm scheduling. Each installation is priced separately at the standard package rate.
