Blush, ivory, chrome rose-gold accents. Softer, more modern aesthetic — favored for at-home proposals and design-forward couples.

Pearl white, eucalyptus accent, ivory. Natural-modern look — common for outdoor-adjacent at-home proposals and proposals planned around a botanical or garden aesthetic.

What setup day looks like

Booking: gender silence protocol
We coordinate setup with you (the proposer) only. We don't contact your partner; we don't reach out by email or text to a shared address. All coordination is to one phone number.

Day -1: kit prep
Heart centerpiece, 30 balloons, 10 LED candles, and vinyl message all prepped in our studio. Photographer coordination (if added) confirmed.

Event day: setup window
We arrive at the agreed window (typically while your partner is out or at work). 30-minute setup, photographer arrives separately if coordinated. We leave the space photo-ready before the moment.

Optional: post-proposal swap
Add-on for "She/He Said Yes" cleanup-and-restyle ($130) — we return after the proposal to convert the setup into an engagement-party-ready installation with congratulations vinyl.
Why this package, specifically
The proposal package is the most-coordinated SKU we offer — every detail is built around the surprise element. We don't contact the partner being proposed to. We don't leave any pre-event materials that might tip off the moment. Setup happens in a window you choose (typically morning while the partner is at work, or during an arranged "go for a walk" moment). We're in and out in 30 minutes, and we hand off a space ready for the proposal photo.
About 60% of our proposal packages are at-home setups — living room, dining room, or terrace. The other 40% are hotel rooms in West Hollywood (Sunset Tower, the Edition, London WeHo), Beverly Hills (Beverly Wilshire, Montage), or Marina del Rey. Hotel proposals require coordinating with the hotel concierge — we handle the vendor-approval call so you don't have to. Outdoor proposals (beach, park) are not part of this package — wind exposure, permits, and timing make those custom-territory.
The Photographer-Coordinated Setup Window add-on ($50) is the most-requested upgrade. We sync our arrival time with the photographer's requested window so they have 5-10 minutes of clean staged photos before your partner arrives. We can also schedule a "She/He Said Yes" return visit to transform the proposal setup into a small engagement-party installation ($130 add-on), with congratulations vinyl swapped in for "Marry Me?".

- No backdrop frame (compact setup, focal-piece based)
- One vinyl message (up to 8 characters)
- Indoor setup only — outdoor proposals need custom installation

What goes into your installation
Balloons: Qualatex premium hearts and chrome accents (24+ hr indoor lifespan). Candles: 10-piece LED battery-powered candle path (no fire hazard, safe for indoor settings including small hotel rooms). Vinyl: 12-mil matte plotter-cut "Marry Me?" or custom 8-character message. Heart centerpiece: 30" or 18" heart-shaped foil balloon (your color choice). Setup time intentionally shorter than full-package setups so we minimize the window where the surprise could be discovered.

Proposal balloon package — questions
How do you keep the proposal a surprise?
We coordinate setup with you (the proposer) only — no contact with your partner. All emails and texts go to the phone number you provide. We don't leave any pre-event materials, don't do site visits ahead of time, and don't reach out by email to shared addresses. About 95% of our proposals stay completely surprise.
What if I'm proposing in a hotel room?
Common scenario — we work with hotel concierges regularly. The proposer typically books the room ahead and tells the concierge a third-party vendor will set up. We coordinate the access window (typically 1-2 hours before your arrival time with the hotel), set up, and clear the room. Most LA premium hotels (Beverly Wilshire, Sunset Tower, London WeHo, the Edition, Montage) approve this routinely.
Can you set up at a restaurant?
Only if the restaurant approves it in writing. Most restaurants don't allow third-party decor in dining rooms. Private dining rooms are usually OK with notice. The standard alternative is setting up at home (or in a hotel room) before the restaurant dinner — clean photo-ready setup at home for after-dinner moment.
Why is this cheaper than the other packages?
Smaller scope — 30 balloons vs 50-60 in other packages, no backdrop frame, faster setup. The materials and craft are identical to the larger packages, just less of it. Most proposal moments don't need a backdrop because the photographer frames the couple, not a backdrop wall.
Can you do outdoor proposals (beach, park)?
Outdoor is custom — wind, permits, and timing make outdoor not fit our fixed package. Beach proposals require LA County permits secured by the proposer; park proposals require permit from the relevant city department. We can't guarantee the setup will hold for outdoor environments. For outdoor proposals, refer to LA custom event planners who handle that scope.
Will the LED candles look real in photos?
Yes — our 10-piece LED candle path uses flicker-effect LED candles that read as real flame in photography (and on phone cameras). They're battery-powered with 12-hour runtime, safe to use indoors, and don't trigger fire alarms.
What if I need to add a photographer to my proposal?
The Photographer-Coordinated Setup Window add-on ($50) is the most-requested upgrade. We sync arrival times so the photographer has clean staged photos before your partner arrives. We don't provide the photographer — but we can recommend LA photographers who specialize in proposal coverage.
Can you do the setup AND come back to convert it into engagement party decor?
Yes — the "She/He Said Yes" cleanup-and-restyle add-on ($130) covers the return visit. We come back the day after (or later that evening, depending on your engagement-party timing) and convert the proposal setup into a small engagement-party installation with congratulations vinyl, adjusted styling.
How early should I book a proposal package?
2-3 weeks ahead is comfortable. Same-week often works — we hold proposal slots more flexibly than other SKUs because proposal timing is often last-minute. Same-day setup is sometimes possible with a $95 rush surcharge.
My partner is allergic to latex — can we adapt?
We can substitute foil-only setups (foil heart centerpiece, no latex balloons). The aesthetic is slightly different and the package price stays the same, but we can avoid latex entirely. Mention in the booking notes; we'll confirm the substituted kit specifics.
