Why this package, specifically
The anniversary package works for any anniversary year — we've set up for 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, 30th, and 50th — but milestone years (25th, 50th) are where the package gets the most pickup. The year numerals are the design centerpiece; everything else frames them. We use chrome gold or champagne-tone vinyl for the numerals on most palettes, which photographs as warm and celebratory under both natural and indoor lighting.
About 30% of our anniversary bookings are surprise setups where one partner doesn't know. For these, we coordinate the setup window with the planning partner — typically early morning (8-9am) while the surprised partner is at work or out, with us gone by 10am. The host then orchestrates the reveal at their preferred moment.
For at-home anniversary dinners, the 6-ft backdrop fits behind most dining tables — we measure twice during the booking phase if you have specific dimensions. For hotel-room anniversary surprises, common LA venues like the Beverly Wilshire or The London West Hollywood allow setups in the room with their housekeeping coordinator. The package size is intentionally limited to fit the kind of intimate space that anniversary celebrations actually happen in.

Is this package suitable for first anniversaries or only milestone years?
Both. Year numerals can be any number 1-999, and the romantic palette works for a 1st as well as a 50th anniversary. The most-booked years are 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th — but we set up for every year in between.
Can you set up in a small dining room?
Yes. The 6-ft backdrop fits behind most dining tables, and we adjust the garland length for the space at setup. For very small dining rooms (under 10-ft wall), we can angle the backdrop or shorten the garland — confirm dimensions in the booking form.
Do you offer surprise setups while one partner is out?
Yes — a common request. About 30% of our anniversary bookings are surprises. Coordinate the setup window in the booking form notes; we can do early-morning installs (8-9am) to be done before the surprised partner returns. Just give us the planning partner's phone number for coordination.
Can we keep the backdrop frame as a keepsake?
No — the frame is reusable across our events. But the vinyl numerals can be removed cleanly and given to you as a keepsake at no extra cost. Many clients save them for photo books or framed mementos.
How does this compare to a custom anniversary decor?
Custom anniversary decor in LA typically runs $850-$1,500 with bespoke palettes and one-off design. Our package gives you the same setup quality and materials for half the price, with the trade-off being three pre-mixed palettes instead of unlimited custom mixing. What if my anniversary year is 4 digits (e.g., something unusual)?
Years above 999 are not standard — we don't have practical anniversary scenarios above 100 years. If you have a creative use case (company anniversary, family-tree milestone), let us know in the booking notes; we can sometimes accommodate with an extra panel charge ($35-50).
Will the rose-petal scatter add-on stain my floor or carpet?
No — we use high-grade synthetic rose petals (not real florals), which are FDA-safe, non-staining, and reusable. They're labeled "vacuum-friendly" — guests can collect them after the event without residue.
Can you do a setup at a vacation rental or short-term Airbnb in LA?
Yes — anniversary surprise setups at LA Airbnbs are a growing percentage of our bookings. We just need the host's approval (most Airbnbs allow third-party decor with notice) and standard load-in access. Confirm with the property owner before booking.
Will the package work outdoors (garden, terrace)?
Yes — the package is rated 6+ hours outdoor in LA conditions. For coastal venues or windy terraces, we add anchor weights to the backdrop frame at no extra charge. Late-afternoon outdoor anniversaries with garden lighting photograph particularly well with the White & Champagne palette.
How early should I book a milestone anniversary (25th, 50th)?
3-4 weeks ahead is safe. Q4 holidays (October-December) book up first because milestone anniversaries cluster with year-end events. Weekday slots have more flexibility than Saturdays.
